David Goranson founded Goranson
Consulting, Inc. in 2003, based on his desire to help clients
create Employee Performance Solutions to ensure ongoing success
in today’s workplace. Dave’s focus is on the most important
part of any organization, its people. 
He works with businesses ranging from four to 3000 employees in
one-on-one, small group or seminar settings. Dave has consulted
with more than 100 companies, assessing and analyzing over 2,000
individuals.
Having worked since 1979 managing hundreds of people, he knows first-hand how crucial
the process is from employee selection through succession
planning. Dave brings a wealth of knowledge from varied business
perspectives to develop solutions that will work for your
organization. This is based on his years of experience as a
general manager, operations manager, and all levels of sales and
sales management. Most of Dave’s business experience is with
industry leaders U.S. Cellular, Paychex, and Right Management
Consulting, the world’s premier firm in the area of career
transition services and talent management.
Dave earned a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration from
Monmouth College, Monmouth, Illinois and a Master’s in Business
Administration from the University of Missouri in Columbia. He
has also secured the designation of Coach Training Alliance
Certified Coach. Dave is involved with the Make-A-Wish
Foundation
and is an active member of the local American Society for Training
& Development chapter, where he also serves on the board as Vice
President of Marketing.
When Dave gets the chance, he escapes the fast-paced business
world and pursues his second love, the great outdoors. He enjoys
the thrill of snow skiing, mountain biking, fishing and hiking.
Since playing on his high school and college teams, Dave has
also remained an avid golfer.
